eToro’s Sign Up Offer Gives You Up to $500 in Assets

Last updated:

eToro is offering new users up to $500 in free assets when they open and fund an account. Sign up, verify your identity, deposit funds, and claim, with a scale based on how much you put in: $40 for deposits between $500 and $999, rising to a full $500 for deposits of $10,000 or more.

For a platform already used by more than 40 million people globally, the bonus gives potential users a good reason to move from watching to participating. The platform covers stocks, ETFs, crypto, commodities, currencies, and indices, so the free assets land inside an already broad investable universe.

The offer is live across much of Europe, the UK, and Singapore, though exactly what you receive and how much depend on where you are.

About eToro

eToro launched in 2007 with the goal of making investing social, and today it operates as a multi-asset platform covering 5,500-plus stocks, 680-plus ETFs, commodities, currencies, indices, and more than 100 cryptocurrencies, with over 40 million registered users across dozens of markets.

The feature most associated with eToro is CopyTrader, which lets users select other traders on the platform and automatically mirror their positions in real time, without having to execute every trade themselves. Someone with no experience in commodities can follow a trader with a documented record in oil or precious metals. Or someone building a diversified portfolio can run a crypto specialist on one side and an equity trader on the other simultaneously.

Product updates from the past year include 24/5 trading on more than 100 U.S. stocks and ETFs, lifting the constraint of standard market hours. Tokenized U.S. equities built on the Ethereum network give users a blockchain-native way to gain equity exposure.

For users who want off-platform custody, the eToro Money wallet, available on iOS and Android, supports over 120 digital assets, and users now hold their own private keys, a change from the earlier custodial arrangement.
